David Icke

Hi Peeps

I will start off by righting an article on David Icke, Seeing as recently I went to his talk at the Brixton Academy.

David Icke has been researching subjects on spirituality, the nature of reality, our society, and the planet for nearly 20 years. His career began as a professional goal keeper but after having to retire early due to Arthritis he became a sports presenter on the BBC and then a spokes person for the Green Party.

During his time working for the BBC through to his move into politics he describes a series of spiritual experiences which changed his life and pretty much cost him his job at the BBC, also making him become disillusioned with mainstream politics.

If you were to walk up to someone and ask them about David Icke you could have your money on them saying,” You mean the guy who thinks he's Jesus”..or "ahhh!, the son of God"!? .. or "ahhh!, the guy who talks about the space lizards!", with a few smirks and laughs.

The frustrating is, for those who have actually read his books, we see that the manipulated perception these people see him through is what allot of Icke's work looks to expose! Funny enough, they don’t see it.

Despite the fact David has written many books over the last 20 odd years with a continually expanding audience, most people will judge him from a stage in his life 20 years ago, a time he has since admitted to not having both his feet on the ground and losing the plot after what he would describe as a huge spiritual life changing experience he went through. Not because he was a "loon" like many seem eager to claim, but because he was overwhelmed. Why else would a guy with a decent career and future suddenly decide the throw it all away and face huge ridicule?. I'm surprised that did not pop into more peoples heads.

My interest in him stared due to a very simple observation, which is, if a person is truly loosing the plot and going mad then why the hell was the mainstream media and every tom dick and harry mocking and laughing and using someone's supposed mental illness and downfall as entertainment?. The BBC and Terry Wogan came across as people more suited to a primary school play ground than a mainstream TV station. If Icke was indeed going crazy then what a horrible uncompassionate bunch the British mainstream and public were!. What about David's family?, His TV career and life in tatters?.

Of course after looking at David's work I understood why they were so aggressively negative to Icke and it was because he, like very few at the time, was sticking his neck out and indulging in some very reviling subjects that affect us all. Now, regardless of how many of his claims people view as way too outlandish, the fact is he hits on some very potent and relevant subjects the mainstream media are only to desperate for people to ignore.

Since the days of ridicule and talking to tiny audiences inside local council halls Icke has reappeared on the Terry Wogan show, though this time Terry was the one laughed at and Icke was a bit more prepared and equipped to present his views. He has also appeared on a channel 5 TV documentary called "David Icke, Was he right".

Today he sells out talks at the Brixton Academy and other large venues around the globe. This underlines how times have changed since the days of the first Terry Wogan appearance where he was mocked. But despite his naive approach back then, the laughter can now be heard for what it was, ignorance, immaturity, and certainly the tone of a crowed with little awareness of what laid ahead of them.

I have moderated on the David Icke forum off and on for a few years and I offer support to him, because regardless of what you agree with or don’t, he offers a genuine debate on truth and underlines many crimes that go on everyday that are ignored or unseen, he also underlines how conditioned and narrow minded people are today, by design.

David Icke's views

David Icke believes that many many years ago the planet was manipulated and infiltrated by an ETE intelligence and that they planted a control system in place that has manipulated events on earth and our way of life ever since. He describes these ETEs as a reptilian kind of being, though they do not generally operate on a physical level like you and I but exist on a different frequency level just outside of our "reality" (another plane).

He believes these beings have infiltrated various secret society's like the Freemasons and the Fabien society who he thinks are collectively known as the "Illuminati", operating secretly and controlling politics, education, banking and more.

The people supporting this are interacting with these entities through ritual, and that not only do they interact with them but also offer human sacrifice to them, and as disturbing as it sounds using young children in sexual ceremonial sacrifices, for a most potent offering. Unfortunately there is allot of research out there to support the possibility of this act. Today the political agenda Icke refers to is recognised as the "New World Order" and the signs of its unveiling are growing stronger each and every day.

But David’s views are not all negative, in fact he believes like many today that we are in times of awakening... a quickening, where the human being is waking up.

When one learns that the actual word Apocalypse means "Unveiling" or "Relieving" then it kind of brings a new angle to it, rather than the Hollywood promoted ignorant perception of it where it is presented as meaning the end of the planet or the end of our life on the planet. Its best to judge a word by what it actually means I think!!.

We are no doubt seeing earthly changes but this does not mean they will destroy everything we see. I might add it also does not mean we are suffering a Global warming scenario... as it can be argued that other planets are also going through changes and the whole Global warming thing is just another ploy to make money out of a situation.

Anyway, David's view is that this new stage we are at, this awakening, will empower more people over time and as much as we have a bumpy ride ahead, the controllers are growing weaker and finding it harder to control us as they have done for so long, loosing their grip, which is why they are so desperate to update the world we live in and gain more control. I guess now the name of my blog page might be a little clearer to you.

Far out claims

David Icke is known for being out there and not holding back on the most crazy beliefs, and one that he still strongly supports today is the reptilian thing.

He has claimed that many people during moments of high emotion like anger, sex, or fear, people all over the world have reported seeing people actually alter appearance and shift into what looks like a reptilian type of being and return to normal again. This info has of course brought him more ridicule and laughter, Although a simple deeper view on what he is saying and a little read up on what quantum physics can prove today shows that the idea may not be totally impossible.

My understanding of this and how something can alter appearance is that one must understand how our brains brake down "appearance" in general, which when looked at scientifically is basically the same as how a computer receives code and puts all these words on this screen, the words are not really here, they are a program!, and if your program glitches, maybe the graphics will blur, smudge, or freeze… this is generally how Icke describes it.

Those who have experimented with hallucinogenic drugs may have an understanding of how the brain can alter the appearance of something, so can perhaps view these ideas with more of an more open mind, especially when we consider that the main thing most hallucinogenic drugs have been proven to do to the body, is actually make a larger percentage of the brain more responsive.

So I am actually very open to people seeing these "Shape shifts", although my advice is, when you hear someone talk about "David Icke and the space lizards" just tell to go and actually do some reading if they are eager to comment, as they are clearly not ready to open their minds or to look into the theory properly, I guess its their choice but its not the best way to expand their minds.

There is no talk of "lizards" in David’s books really. However, the "reptile" is one of the most potent life forms on the earth and has been even more so in history, Even the human body has some reptilian genetics and even a part of our brain is called the "Reptilian brain", its not only about watching too much star wars or star trek, there is heaps of research that cry out for answers, and what ever truth lies behind them I support anything and anyone that remains inquisitive.

The "Moon Matrix"

Another far fetched theory that has been presented in David Icke's latest book is his view that the Moon is a constructed artefact used for a long time to manipulate Earth, affecting our minds and the planet. Its not the first time this theory has been around and Icke him self forwarded some books that he him self had read and states that he had to read them after a gut feeling on how important the moon was to the whole agenda.

When I first heard this I was very sceptical, But after checking the info, while there is nothing conclusive to say he is right in what it is, there is certainly enough info to say that what people think the moon is, is in fact wrong. And I do remain very open minded in his views on what he calls the "Moon matrix". Its also interesting that recently allot of researchers are now pointing out that Mars's moon "Phobos" is also hollow and could well be a space station, these possibilities are starting to surface. I would suggest keeping an open mind and have seen no reason for NASA to gain such undeniable trust, far from it. If you are eager to question David Icke then you are crazy to let NASA off the hook.

Now on to some niggles.

I think its very rare you will find an Author or researcher who you agree with word for word. and Icke is no different.

There is one area in particular that never really sits well with me, and that's his general view on the Occult, Satanism, Magic, and various people through the years involved with such.

Now, David has always rejected religion and highlighted it as a form of control and with lots of disinformation within it. Like a growing number of people today he feels that Jesus is more than likely a fictional character, underlining the vast number of parallel similarities the story of Jesus has with older pagan gods and deities. Often David has pointed out how Christianity and the bible is full of lies and that it offers a very little in terms of spiritual development.

While all that is said, has also made it clear that he thinks the "powers that be" are interacting (through ritual) with the reptilian beings, who he has also linked to the Annunaki who were believed to have been a race from ancient Sumeria and were worshipped as Gods and often depicted in reptilian like form.

Now, that's all well and good, but he also claims the rituals the elite do are "Satanic" and often labels occult people and movements as "Satanic". For me this is a bit of a contradiction and what it does is it can lead to many false judgements within the occult world, which happens allot.

Who are the controllers interacting with? A race of malevolent reptilian beings? Or Satan? The enemy of Christ that the bible speaks of, the bible that David thinks is a corrupt and orchestrated document.

It’s this subject where I just can’t really get down with Icke. His deeper research into the occult world is very vague and limited and he has never really gone deeply into the subject, only covering the surface because it resonates with his other theories, that are of course interesting. But often a closer look into the occult stuff raises many questions. Its worth noting that the awakening he talks of has been a potent understanding in the occult world for a long time.

Another example is, he has often attacked Aleister Crowley as a "Satanist" and implied that he was apart of the elite who worship these reptiles and serve them. But for me, someone who has read some of Crowley’s works, I see much of Crowley's work being complimentary to David's, all be it Crowley's having a very dark and sinister nature. I, like many others feel he was a very misunderstood person and like David very often the victim of a controlling and manipulative mainstream media. Today we see many of the people who would brand Crowley as every type of criminal under the sun through hear say and religious propaganda, Also take swipes at David for being a "wolf in sheep’s clothing"... a "false prophet sent by Satan" and so on.

In Davids talk at Brixton he quoted Crowley as saying the following
"I want blasphemy, murder, rape, revolution, anything, bad"

But anyone who has really read and understood Crowley and where he was coming from will know that there was far more to him than this and there are many quotes you can take from him out of context. and here is the full quote.
"“After five years of folly and weakness, miscalled politeness, tact, discretion, care for the feeling of others, I am weary of it. I say today: to hell with Christianity, Rationalism, Buddhism, all the lumber of the centuries. I bring you a positive and primeval fact, Magic by name; and with this I will build me a new Heaven and new Earth. I want none of your faint approval or faint dispraise; I want blasphemy, murder, rape, revolution, anything, bad or good, but strong.”

Ok not exactly the most peaceful statement he came out with, but in the right context its more understandable, Much heavy metal bands today expressing them selves to the extreme and against the oppressive nature of religion.

and you can understand more about Crowley buy reading more, like the following..
"The Key to this Message is this word-Will. The first obvious meaning of this Law is confirmed by antithesis; “The word of Sin is Restriction.”

Again: “Thou hast no right but to do thy will. Do that and no other shall say nay. For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.”

Take this carefully; it seems to imply a theory that if every man and every woman did his and her will—the true will—there would be no clashing. “Every man and every woman is a star,” and each star moves in an appointed path without interference. There is plenty of room for all; it is only disorder that creates confusion.

From these considerations it should be clear that “Do what thou wilt” does not mean “Do what you like.” It is the apotheosis of Freedom; but it is also the strictest possible bond."

and

"To practice black magic you have to violate every principle of science, decency, and intelligence. You must be obsessed with an insane idea of the importance of the petty object of your wretched and selfish desires. I have been accused of being a "black magician." No more foolish statement was ever made about me. I despise the thing to such an extent that I can hardly believe in the existence of people so debased and idiotic as to practice it."

I admit Crowley will always raise a controversial debate with some not liking him and some liking him as I do. And David rightfully has his view. but I was disappointed how he has not really covered the ground sufficiently before making such strong implications. Cconcepts of things such as Lucifer and Satan should be looked into with great depth, looking into what they are and where they came from, not just who has flashed their supposed symbols.

I think its important to note that these philosophies are not always practised by evil people and it is wrong to brand them as the mainstream does and always has... For me I view Magic like fire, you can hurt your self with it or you can hurt others with it, but you can also use it to keep warm, to cook food, sterilise something, or create energy.

All that being said, I can live with all that for Icke, for the sacrifice and hard work Icke has put in and the much truth he does put out there, I support him and wish him well, He believes in freedom which will always permit those to research what they so wish, which can never be a bad thing.

”Cool” Anti David Icke people

Within the “truth movement” or what ever you want to call “it”, there does seem to be an attitude a few have regarding Icke and it seems to be this arrogant *I used to read Icke but now I'm more advanced* kind of attitude and it always makes me laugh as I just don’t see that attitude as particularly enlightened or advanced. I find it a bit egotistical, insecure and pointless.

Fair enough you might have read all you need to read from the guy, but he is still fantastic at what he does and is constantly bringing more people into these subjects and making them look, to a scale no other can really do. And all of this from his own hard work and belief.

Anyone who is really smart will know that for all of us its worth while to see more people open their minds and remove them selves from the box minded society we are all rounded into everyday. David assists in this very much so.

There are also some people who show what can easily be described as an obsessive anti Icke stance. For me, anyone that is obsessed with someone they don’t like is clearly the person with an issue. You see videos on youtube created by people regularly taking time out their week to attack him. Its understandable how you will get many Christians or other religious people attacking him because they have been designed to attack or condemn such people by their faith, and they very rarely show the capability of thinking for them selves. But it does not always end with a religious protest.

You see forums created by people banned from his forum for throwing their dummies out of the pram because no one cared much for their dogmatic and imposing perspective. These people are completely convinced that anyone who shows an interest in Icke is either foolish, crazy, or crooked. But the real clanger for me is that for some odd reason, when you look at the major issues around the world currently, for these passionate anti David Icke folk, informing people who enjoy Ickes work that they are crazy, crooked, or foolish, is high at the top of their priority list!.

They will desperately tell you he is "all about the money" ... or he is all about "plagiarism". And many will even go so far as to scrutinise him to the max and call him out as a Freemason!. Yes the guy who accuses the top degree Freemasons of being child raping, child killing, worshippers of man kinds enemy, and jail keepers of man kind.... Is a Freemason, according to them.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not one to put all my belief in anything I do not know %100, and I so not live with David Icke. But I just don't like to put such energy and thought space claiming as a fact such baseless illogical accusations that have 0 evidence!.

First of all Im sure Icke is happy to make money, he has not always been where he is now and has had to work his socks off to get there, he has a family and is not getting any younger, so why would he not be interested in making money? The Internet is swamped with his free interviews, performances and so on, but he charges for his latest work, I see no big deal in this and wish him all the best as I like to see hard work pay off.

Secondly there is no plagiarism in this stuff, its info and info is not a personal possession, its not entertainment, its not Hollywood, Its about presentation and expanding info. On top of that, Icke is constantly referring to people and books he gets info from, and will always tie it into his general take on what's going on.

As for the Freemason accusations, most of this came from a guy called Alan Watt who I will cover in a future article, I will just say I have seen him use misleading info to attack many people in this movement and is quite frankly a trouble maker who is far from a trustworthy source him self IMO.

So due to so many views on Icke, my opinion is to ignore them all and pick up a book with an open mind and read. As long as you do not limit your shelf to David Icke books and simply want to learn more and research more, then he is a GREAT read.

Stay tuned for more articles!.
